Show Jump Poles

Poles bring together the natural weight and rigidity of wood and the enduring strength and brightness of modern plastics. These two very different materials combine together to provide a colourbright, durable, and immensely strong composite pole which, unlike the old simple timber pole, is not prone to shattering and splintering on impact, with all the potential risk of injury to both rider and horse. Something we could only have dreamed about twenty years ago.

Competition Poles

These are made from 3 metre (10ft) x 4" dia. x 5 mm wall thickness polypropylene tubes which are cut, machined and welded together to form the multicoloured outer tough shell. A piece of specially pre-machined timber of the correct weight is inserted hydraulically to form an extremely tough composite pole. The ends are then capped and welded to protect the timber insert from moisture and maintain a constant weight.

Affiliated Poles

These are produced by exactly the same process as the Competition Poles except that they are 3.5 metres long and weigh 12 kilos.

Practice Poles

These are produced as the other poles but without the timber insert. They are great for practising or filler poles.

Wings

Wings are made of colourfast plastic sections and tube, specially selected for strength and safety. These sections are cut, machined and welded to provide a durable, lasting alternative. to the simpler wooden option. They never need painting, leave them outside and the rain will keep them clean and fresh! They will keep their brightness and smooth finish, great for handling, and with the unique double prong feet they are stable and yet light and easy to cart about. The feet can't drop off and squash your feet, remember that happening with the big lumpy old wooden feet? and if you do want to remove the feet for moving or even easier storage, just press the safety release button, simple, and no personal damage! There are currently three types of wing available.

Fillers

Sign Written Hanging Fillers. There are various fillers available plus a hanging gate, and palisade.

Jump Stands

These are available in 5ft or 6ft heights, and in our standard range of colours. They are ideal for building practice courses as they are multidirectional, which means they can be linked together, enabling you to build courses in a restricted area.

Telescopic Jump Stands

These have been designed for lunging and loose rein jumping and are similar to the Jump Stands, but have another tube inside, which extends to the required height. A valuable training aid two sizes are available 700mm - 900mm.
